Howcome when I try to put a picture next to my name it says something like htlm or something? How do I make pictures small enough to fit?

Just click the Browse button and select the filename. Don't change what's in the "Enter Avatar URL:" box.

Also make sure you select "Use Custom Avatar"

how do I fix that?

I tried the avatar thingee too and it said failed

Open the file in msPaint
- Image->Stretch/Skew
insert appropriate percentages & click OK

eg. for a 1600x1200 image use 6% for both.

Save as new filename (JPEG format)

Use a photo or picture editor and just resize it and make it smaller so it fits. Your picture is too big. If you don't have any special editing software and are using windows, then open the file in Microsoft Photo Editor then click on "Image" and then choose "Resize" from the drop down list.

Another option would be to upload the image to your locker then use the thumbnail image. (either save it or link to it)

Im gonna break something I can build a dam computer but I cant post a FREAKIN pic I tried tiny pic .com and it said the file is too large. I tried to change the size with windows paint and i just get a corner of the picture. even then i tried to upload it anyway and it said upload failed for no F***** reason WTF

As a personal matter of interest, I have just completely perused this thread. I have used the site for several years from a great distance and therefore via many connections. It has always amazed me that it operates so very well when stacked up against commercial sites. It is superior to most.

Just wondering if there was ever a thought for a timeslip page. Ive seen it on other VBulletin forums. and it seems alot of guys are starting to race their cars more and push the times faster
