Still...

...driving a Mercedes Benz C250.
But I want to sell, cause cruising the SVX is much more fun.
Don't need two cars at all, maybe a small one if the Mercedes is sold.

BMW 1602

Randy

The 1602 is the same as the 2002, except it's got a 1.6 litre motor instead of the 2.0 litre in the 2002. Most of the 16s were sold in Europe. Mine was originally a RHD from England.

Ron:
I bought it here in RI from a couple who had gotten it in London. They drove through Europe in for two years, then brought it back to the States. Originally RHD for England, it was converted to LHD for US driving. Other mods included full length sunroof, Weber carb and tuned header with ANSA exhaust. It's a great little car and a blast to drive.

Ah, so... I looked at the 2002 to buy in '68 when I returned to the states. Bought a Fiat 124 Coupe instead, 'cause it was $200.00 less.
Back then, two hunnert was a fortune.
Thanks, Dwayne.
Ron.

I thank 'ya for the praise, Beav. The 124 was good for 90K & 3 years before it dissolved into a rust pile. The DOHC 1.6 liter engine was fun, & still ran fine when I sold the thing for 200 bucks to a "body by Bondo repair expert". I notice the BMW 1602 is still around, though.
Fix it again, Tony!
Ron.

1994 Base Ford Probe - Black (2.0L, 4 cyl, 5-speed, whopping 118 bhp)

My daily driver. I bought her used in 1998 after convincing my wife to let me have another car so the SVX can be spared from the 100 mile commute per day. She's got 102k on the odo and she's been trouble free, she's a champ (knock on wood, Probes are not known for their reliablity)

1999 Legacy GT Wagon - Silver (you all know what the specs are)

The little lady's car. Got it brand new after trading in an awful experience with 3 VW Jettas (yes, I went through 3 defective Jettas in less than 2.5 years, fighting it out with VW the entire way). Its been bulletproof, period. The wife loves it. I can't get her to part with it. We are looking at a....gulp!....minivan. She says she'd buy one sight unseen if it came from Subaru. I contacted Subaru...they got nothing so far, so it looks like a Honda Odessey for her. Then I get the wagon for every day. Looks like I'm getting old too!

The Soarer should be featured in Turbo magazine by Fall...
I also have another 92 Silver svx, 86 Mustang SVO, 86 Mustang GT conv, and a 70 Boss 302 Mustang.

Who knows what the future holds, but Im actually looking into buying an 86 EXP turbo for a shop car ....I buy alot of rust free Az muscle cars too and usually turn them in a few months for extra income, but all older then 1978........
