I have a 92 svx for parts and I drive around in my 94 pearl white svx in Richland County area. I have seen Matt and his nice svx. We should get a Mid Ohio Mini Meet together. I am not sure if we could meet at Mid Ohio, but that would be cool on the tracks as well. I will have to drive there and ask a few questions.

A mini meet would be sweet. I'd love to let some of you check my car out and lay some times down at mid ohio. It will be ready to break some records in about 2 months with it's new motor.

I have contacted Mid-Ohio; I am waiting on what they would say about a Mini Meet there. Cross your fingers, I will let you know if this does not work, I will try Mansfield Speedway unless you guys can think of a spot. I am not aiming to race my car, but for those of you who are I think it would be neat.

Unfortunately I work weekends, So if we don't do this during the beginning of a week, I probally can't make it. Try dragway 42 for good place to meet. I like the track there and on tuesdays it's test and tune and only 10 bucks to race all day. I hope I have my new motor in by time we do this, It will be depressing if not.

I have never heard of it, but it’s much cheaper I am sure. I will look it up online unless you have a number for them, I will give them a call.

Track rental is typically $9,000/day and is all inclusive of safety, ambulance, etc. You will need to provide $5M of liability coverage. The other option is to a program through our driving where the insurance is included as well as professional instruction.

Well guy's this was emailed back to me and I am not sure anyone can afford such to rent the trac...Ouch I guess I was wishful thinking, lol. Anyway I will check out other options in efforts to have this mini meet take place before summer is over with.

This is their website. I went last year on a tuesday and raced with cappy in his 94 and it wasn't very crowded and was only 10 bucks for all day. Plus it's on a tuesday and I can actually make it then. Working weekends SUCKS!

Thanks, I checked it out on the net and it looks great for us. You mentioned its on a Tuesday? If you would like to set up the time, and date that is fine with me. I just need a few weeks in advance to change some schedules around. This place is not that far from us. I am a bit chicken I think to kill my car but it would be fun to watch.

I'll let you handle this one, But for as long as it's at dragway 42 and on a tuesday for test and tune, I'm there. You should plan the day for at least a month from now and start a thread about it in the 'upcoming meets' section of the forums. Hope to see you there. My engine has a knock, but hopefully I'll have the new one in by then. If not, I guess it might get blown up.
