how big are the 3 of you?

If one of you is short, you could squeeze into the back seat of an svx......

I've done it one a short drive and I am 6'4"

I would say the 92svx if it was just two of you
keep the miles down on the 97

You now have seven votes for hitch hike, and I'll admit I was one of them, look at it this way, it has the potential to make your trip a real adventure!
(course since it's only 3 of you, who ever is in back can strecth across the whole back seat so take an SVX for god sake!)

I voted hitch hike, but just to be a smart @$$.

My real vote would be to rent something (what my family always does on vacation). That way if it breaks down in some backwater spot it's not your problem to shell out umpteen bucks...

the legacy was the winner. drove from denver to north platte last night. 280 miles in 2 hours, 59 minutes. i think i love this car!
