The unexpected surprise included with my SVX....
As stated in my "We're home!" thread (http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...threadid=22213)
My new SVX came with something I wasn't quite expecting... Was driving through Iowa in the middle of the night and hit my elbow on something sharp on the side of the armrest... I looked down and saw a switch... Being the tech geek that I am.. It immediately flashed through my head... "MUST... PUSH... BUTTON!!" Sooo.. Knowing the car had an ECUTune system and not knowing what it would do if I switched it on/off whilst in motion or even if this switch controlled the ECUtune (Turns out that the switch was never installed...)... We pulled over and flipped the switch... A green LED lit up inside and I didn't notice anything immediately different.. Until I looked out my window... ...and saw this... (Now, most of you know I'm totally anti-Rice, but I'm very much pro-techie toys and well.. We techs are easily amused by anything that lights up... Soo.. I think I might be keeping them.. ) (Pict's a bit shaky because I was cold and tired at the time.. ) ...and a couple more from our trip... Proud new owner.. (Ghods, I look fat in that one.. ) Those gorgeous CO mountains.... ) Breakfast on the first day out... A beautiful pict of a sculpture taken by Alicia at the rest stop on the Colorado/Nebraska border.

Those are awesome pictures 'Wulf!! How very cool!
I have just one question: when you do move to Colorado are you going to become a stuck-up front-ranger and ignore us over here on the good side of the hill?

Steve put NERONS on his car?
Personally, I like em, but I'm a bit biased..

Man... This just keeps getting better and better.. I swear.. Every time I go out to the car, I find some new little tidbit...
I was going through the glove box, looking for my insurance information and noticed a little organizer thing that I hadn't before... Lo and behold.. In it was a MagLite, a tire pressure gauge, a comb... ( )... ...and this: That brings the total up to: 1 Carcoon car cover. 1 set of green neon 'street glow' 1 complete set of '92 service manuals 1 '92 owners manual 1 SVX DVD 1 SVX '04 calendar 1 issue of Sports Cars Int'l with the "Top 10 Sports Cars of the 90's" (featuring the SVX) 1 box of various spare parts 1 2x2 painted with the words "Hood Prop" 1 gargantuan 3 ring binder with a TON of information garnered from various SVX sites, service receipts and the ECUtune instructions...
