Unhappy Someone give me some advice...

I recently had my car go through some repairs and I found out that one of my torque converter mounts (to the ring gear) is broken and at high rpms, the car vibrates pretty roughly.

Also, when in 3rd (found this out tonight ) the car tends to slip out of gear and rev like I'm in neutral. I can't get into fourth and getting the car up to 75 isn't easy.

Someone help. I miss my properly running baby and it makes me want to cry (not really, but it sucks royal... (edited for language))

Any ideas if the torque converter is causing this or if the tranny slip is some other malady?

(I know I should run searches, but this isn't quite the same as anyone else's situation)

why don't you take your car back to same shop or take it to a mechanic at a reputable shop for a test drive?

Basically, my car won't shift into 3rd... when I drop the gear selector into 3rd, it revs like in neutral.

I read the other posts and found things like planetary gears and solenoid problems.... any ideas?

I'm getting worse and worse by the day. I need a car and can't stand to lose this one...
