Thumbs up Finally, my exhaust is quite ...again!

I never knew how quite my car can be untill yeterday. I had a muffler shop replace the "donut gasket" on the rear of the second cat converter and all is well. This gasket was all but gone and made the car sound a bit loud from the middle of the car. Never knew that this wasn't normal until I revved up another '92 couple of weeks ago in Reno, NV. Anyway, I bought two spring bolts and the gasket donut at my local dealer for about $40 and another $45 to have Meiniki (spell?) muffler shop install it. I attempted it but w/o a lift a regular shmo like myself would have a hard time with the removal of the rusted pieces.

Just a FYI.

Congrats! it's hard to tell if our cars are normal or not until we can compare them to another one. That's one reason I am looking forward to the Reading meet.

"When in doubt...lubricate!"...
I am both frightened and strangely intrigued at the same time...lol

I find that flipping mine over onto the roof makes working on those rusty, dirty underbody pieces a LOT easier.
