hello to all
Hi everyone, I just joined the network but have been lurking for a couple of years now. Been a suby driver for many years and also been into vws. Really have loved my subarus for their rugged utility and boy they can take a thrashing! With the svx i think i get those abilities combined with speed, luxury and raw beauty. I got my 92 svx three years ago at 21k. I've driven another 28k in it since, and enjoyed it immensely. I find the svx to be an awesome gt car with good power and handling. It definitely has a heavy substantial feel to it which i like and the car doesnt really come alive i think until over 65 mph. I do love the highway passing ability and the stability at highly illegal speeds. I have driven my wife's Miata at Grattan raceway in Michigan and would love to see what the svx can do on that track-even if it costs a wheel bearing or 2. May not be much fun with the slushbox but you never know. I envy the performance mods you guys have installed! Hoping to put in a less restrictive exhaust this summer and eventually a 5spd when the trans kicks or i get too impatient, whichever comes first. So, good to be on line with you all.

Hey Tom, yes i would be into attending some events. I lived in Germantown PA before moving up here near Buffalo so I get down that way occasionally, and-a friend just moved to Westchester so maybe this year.
