Lightbulb Is a 1996 legacy 2.2L plug and play for SVX Swap???

can it be done, will it work good, what ratio is it. ( transmission )
its a 2.2L.

yeah...isn't that the 4.11 or the 4.44

i'im actually not sure at all...but i think i read about the legacy 9.6
but you needed it to have rear LSD since you would have to swap that too.

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
Tranny would be a plug and play, but you'd need to swap a matching ring and pinion for the rear diff to complete the swap....

Can i just replace the rear diff from the tranny donating car?
What the final ratio on it 4.44?

4.44:1 is the final drive ratio. No you cannot just swap over the new diff unless you really feel like losing your LSD abilities

If it is a 96 Legacy, not an Outback, the final drive is probably 4.11.

And the SVX axles won't fit into a Legacy open rear diff, so you'll have to swap the ring and pinion to complete the swap.

Thats right. Because the SVX rear axles has one that portrudes longer than the other it would hang up on the spider gear spider gear shaft... Never thought of that.
