I know how you feel. It is always nice to hear the SVX purr after it has been waiting on parts. What is better is.....driving it!

I think my starter is on it's way out ....if you don't mind me asking - how much did you get yours for?

umm dealer said they only carry remans for it...which are very high quality by the appearance of it. I got mine for $160 w/ exchange....not a bad deal and they will warranty it even w/o them installing it.

It gave me no warning before it failed....just wouldn't work anymore.... The selonoid failed. It was 150 bucks to get it towed back to the house... ugh.

$160 isn't a bad deal at all considering dealer. Right now sometimes when I go to start it, nothing happens and I here a click ....then try again, and maybe it'll click again, but most of the time it starts eventually (within like 30 seconds)

That is exactly what mine did the day it died.. except it took 30 mins before it would start that morning. The previous few days it would do as you would describe but it woul take 5 secs of so to start. Worked fine all day and then died that night as I left to come home.

$160 was acctually cheaper than the autoparts stores in the area by $10-20. Not as good of a warranty as the autostores...but can't beat OEM for most things.
