Weird Car Sunday

Yesterday morn. (Sunday) I went to the supermarket to do some grocery shopping. The SVX has an 8 bag trunk. When I pulled into the lot I noticed a fellow working on a red car that I did not immediately recognize. I walked over to him and we talked a bit. It was a SIATA convertible. I don't think that there are 100 of them in the USA.

Returning from delivering the groceries to my mother-in-law, I noticed another oddball car approaching. It was a baby blue Amphicar with 2 guys in it. I honked & waved and they did the same.

Farther on, driving up the hill toward my development, I noticed a black '48 or '49 Caddy in someone's driveway.

All this happened before 10:00 AM.
ALL in all, it must have been RARE, WEIRD CAR SUNDAY MORNING in northern Delaware.

Larry III
PS: Go figure. All along I thought that the SVX was pretty unique but not anymore.

Question

OK, Larry, I give up. I can picture the amphibicar & the Caddy, but what the heck's a SIATA? Ron.

Thanks guys. I can now get a restful sleep. I wonder which of these cars Larry saw. The site also linked me to one of my long lost friends, the Fiat 850 coupe. Ah, memories. Ron.

Yeah, I remember the Spring. Maybe they turn yellow in the Fall.
