Smile OT Misc. Morning Ramblings

I ran some errands this morning in our '97 Legacy Outback. While passing a brand new shopping center on my way to the farmer's market I spied a big helicopter hovering at about 100 ft. almost directly above me. The chopper was a Sirkorski S-63 or 64 it was lifting HVAC units onto the roofs of various stores in the shopping center. I pulled into the parking lot and watched the chopper for about 1/2 hr. I was surrounded by all the other grown-up boys that never grew-up. After that I went to the farmers market ; where I buy fruit from the PA. Dutch every Sat. morning. When I came out a brand new Outback Sport was parked next to me. It is based on the WRX. It was two-tone, Green & Gray. The gray bottom smoothes out the abupt lines and chunky styling of the WRX. On the way home there was a beautiful 1958 Ford Convertble Hardtop in someone's driveway. I pulled up and walked around it. It was red & cream with a continental kit on the back. The top was down and the interior was red, cream, and black leatherette (before Naugahyde). It had chrome skirts on the rear wheels. "Just Married" was written in soap across the windshield. All in all, a really great morning.

Cool!

Thanks for sharing Larry. Things like that can really make your day. It is somewhat related to slowing down and smelling the roses... Don
