Hi, welcome to the club.

Your SVX is the model known as S4. The option code "SW" means that your car does not have a sunroof. If you had a sunroof it would be "SA".

See here for details:

For more information, do a translate of this page from Japanese to English:

Down Under

Hi and welcome to a really great site for SVXers. On the Opening page of this site, scroll to the bottom, there is a heading "Down Under" where you will find others from NZ. Again welcome, and you sure got a real beauty, take good care of her.

Thanks for the info.
I guess technical terms don't translate too well.
But its good to see that;
a) the ignition is a "smut less electronic type"
b) My car cost over 3 million when it was new
c) the passenger seat is referred to as the "suicide" seat
d) my car has - "The software cover attaching floor console (the ashtray you attach)"

Also I did not know that the SVX was the pace car for the "in D" (Indy) race series, anyone got pix?

Cancel that, just did a quick .............

Gotta love that interior, does this qualify as more race pedigree for the svx?

Thanks for the info, very informative, as for the speed limiter........YUP, found that one out ( vacant runway )

The warmth of the welcome and wealth of info has really impressed me here.

Tan Suede...I like those wheels. Were they an option from the factory in Japan??

Sorry, I have no idea about the wheels they were on it when I got it but I don't think they are factory.

What's wrong with tan suede, you should see some of the JDM mats (go to page 6, #9)

http://www.geocities.com/Jamsvx/jdmaccessories1.html

that must have been one real bad acid trip.

The only option for S4 cars was the sunroof, which this car does not have.

Standard factory rims were the BBS spoky rim like in your picture 94.

There's nothing wrong with the Tan Suede I like it actually...I've just never seen a set that looked in that good of condition.

Niceeee...I have those BBS spoky rims

I just noticed: Hairy's car is JDM, but the spoiler is not..... and yet the colour matches perfectly, it looks original

They look great, Steve.

Have you two cars now? That burgundy colour looks very good.

Does the solid red suffer from UV fading?

It looks a great job Phil does it not?

Speedklix or somebody mentioned that, rare to see the US type spoiler with the JDM front grille.

Whoever put it on had a good paint shop and a good painter. It is very difficult to match pearlescent paint to that level.

Joe
