First 5 hours with the SVX

So, this is my self indulgent type post ...

Back from college today, and what better way to return than to have an SVX waiting in the driveway! What a great car ... it is 10x more beautiful and fun to drive when it is yours. Took a trip to radio shack to replace the battery in the remote, what fun what fun!

Thanks for all the info everyone has given me along the path to this purchase - it has all paid off in the end!

Oh yeah, specs - 92 LS-L, 52,000 miles, silver, no spoiler. I'm going to wax it tomorrow, then post a load of pics in my briefcase.

Now if you'll excuse me.. I think I need to make a midnight grocery run, or a midnight neighborhood security patrol, or.. something to justify another drive before bed!

Smile I remember.....

When I got mine I drove it about 1200 miles in the first two days I had it from Albany NY to home in Duluth MN.

What a nice ride, but because I had no plates I had to take it easy on the speed and such.

I flew out to get mine from a Yahoot club member who lived in VT.
