Over on "Brand X" forum Randy posted today that he and 3 other SVXs are coming to our meet...sounds like he will definately be there!
Just got of the phone with Mark just to finish up some last minute "tweeks" Troy and Earl do you still have my cell number I pm'd you a few weeks back? See everyone in the morning!!

Hi,
Thank you to everyone who attended. Joy and I had a great time and are looking forward to the next drive. Erik and I are making plans for the next Vancouver/Portland meet, maybe in about six months or so. We have some interesting ideas and plenty of time to get it together, so continue to watch this site for info. It was nice to meet Gene and Alice from Centralia, which also happens to be the central location to NWSVX events, hope to see you soon, with your Au Natural SVX. Also, Brian and Leslie from Battleground. You only have to keep the F.N.G. award until a newer owner comes along. Norm is was nice to meet your brother John, hope he had a great time. Tom, sorry you couldn't make the drive, but thanx for showing up. Hope to see you again. Welcome. Finally, to everyone else. You guys are too cool. Thanx for making the long drive to take our long drive. See you all in October. Mark and Joy

Thanks for all of your effort. It was well worth the trip down and it is always fun to get together will every one down there.

It was a great event! Well worth the time and mileage to get there and back.
The most fun I've had on a driving tour in years! The Columbia Gorge is so beautiful the entire drive there is something great to look at, even if didn't have all the fantastic stops that we did! And the roads themselves made the drive all the better - fast sections, curvy sections, and since the route was so simple everyone could go at their own pace and never worry about getting lost! Did I mention the scenery the whole time was excellent? Thanks to everyone who had a hand in setting this up, hope this becomes an annual event!

New award
"Fool for your driving", for the most miles driven in a day. Me likie and will remember it for the next drive. Let me put it with my phone numbers to remember list. Not a good place. O.K., the storage compartment under the passengers' seat. It's done. Have a couple of other ideas too, just have to come up with a way to put a positive spin on them.

Seriously, Larry has put it all together and if last year is any indication, it should be another great drive! Guess this means I'm pretty much retired from putting together driving tours.
