Yepp I kicked the server 2 days ago and I have to fix it.

What sand papers? You'll need 400, 800, 1000, 1500, and maybe 2000

Wet sand then use the plastic cleaner

My local Ace Hardware sells it in single sheets (although not cheap that way), and one of each is more than enough for headlamps.

You can replace some of those grits with elbow grease mabey just 800 and 1200 will be necessary. I usually finish with plastic polish, then wax. Somebody verify this, I believe you heat the oven to 400 then turn it off, put the lights in and wait 10 min till you take them out.

Do I know Novus? I do. Novus comes after sanding.

Sandpaper:
400
600
1000
1500
2000

Alternate sanding direction. If you do 400 left to right, do 600 up and down, then 1000 left to right, etc.

Compounds:
Rubbing compound (Novus #3)
Polishing compound (Novus #2)
Plastic polish (Novus #1)

I used Krylon Clear Coat in a spray can and it has held up for over a year and a half in Wisconsin winters and highway driving.

The clear coat protects them from going yellow too quick. You could just use the final polish every month or two but I'm too lazy to do that.
