Woe is Pearly

Rosie and I went out to eat tonight to celebrate the Yankees win over the Twins (Yeah, I know that the score was 3-1, Twins). Coming home as I was pulling Pearly (Rosie's 94 LSi) into the garage, the steering wheel became a bear to turn, I lost power steering and had to wrestle the wheel to avoid Subydoo. At first, I thought that the power steering belt broke. Then I noticed the smoke. I got the car into position and got out. I immediately noticed the puddle of pink fluid on the garage floor. I lifted the hood and saw that the power steering belt was intact. I surmise that a PS hose or fitting blew out.
Since I was dressed in a great suit, had on a white on white shirt with cuff links, and was wearing my NY Yankee tie, I decided not to work on the car tonight. Tomorrow night I'll get under it.

PS: If you think that I was dressed to the 'nines', you should have seen The Beautiful Naviguesser !

Blown PS

Larry:

How many miles on that car, and do you know service history re: PS? (Reason I ask is my Pearly is a '92 w/78k on the odo, and I haven't a clue if it's a Yankee fan or not...this is obviously why your PS went Tango Uniform...They lost.)

Dan,

There is about 80K on Pearly now.

Since you are in RI, I'll assume that you are a Red Sox fan.
If the Red Sox meet the Cubs in the World Series, the end of the world will be upon us and hell will certainly frezze over.

To answer your last question; "perforated toilet paper."

I am hoping for a Yankee vs. Giant World Series
Let's resurect the Polo Grounds.

Failing that, I would like to see a Red Sox vs. Cubs World Series.
That will be the precursor for the end of the world.

From a fellow Canadian, it did seem to be kind of a sketchy operation.

Larry:
Thanx info on Suby.
Yes. I agree the Sox vs the Cubs would be cataclysmic. As for my leanings. I'm of two minds...I was born in Boston, but moved to Pelham, NY when I was 3 and spent my yoot growing up dere.
So, all I can say is that in order to get at the Cubs, the Sox may have to get by the Yanks and those will be interesting games.
Thanx too for buttered bread answer.
Regards to you and The BN
Dan

Dan.

I use my trusty old "Paper Mate." It's still quite fly.

I have a question. "Are all fruit flies gay?"

I don't know, but I'll ask the next one I see.

Question - What kind of saddle do you use on a horse fly?

If they are, they would soon be extinct. They could be bi though.
