That's not good, driving in the dark winter in Alaska, day and night.
Got to keep the fire in those lamps .

Re: wtb multifunction switch for 92-95

sweet thanks... I'm almost thinking I should buy 2 of these just to have a spare. This is the second one I've gone through in under 2k miles. Just luck that the used one I put in was about to break.

Wow, that seems really odd. You might want to poke around with a multimeter to see if there is a short or something somewhere. Just a thought so you don't end up burning up anymore.

Re: wtb multifunction switch for 92-95

nah its nothing to do with a short in the factory harness. simple wear and tear. the switch gets used a million times a day. Not to mention it came out of a 95 that was heavily used and abused.

Since its seeming hard to get ahold of one of these, I'm going to cut the wires going to just the headlight switch part of the multi function switch and wire in a simple toggle switch for now. At least I can drive the car at night that way un til I can get ahold of the switch from someone

Alright, fair enough. I've just never had an issue in any of the SVXi that I've had so I thought I would ask.

Sorry, got busy with cleaning the garage and forgot to get it apart. Will see if I can get it all apart tomorrow before I head out of town for the weekend.
