...about the water
my wife is from mexico so watch it! she is actually spanish and really doesnt look mexican at all. her family owns a really big wholesale jewelry business in San Luis Potosi which is a beautiful city. i went there last year expecting the ghetto, you know how we gringos think about mexico, but what i found was a very beautiful house. hell they live twice as good as i do! her whole family is college educated: her father is an civil engineer, her brother is a MIS major, and my wife is a graphic designer. i guess this is a lot of info. but people always have this horrible stereotype in their minds when i say my wife is from mexico. i keep a picture with me, i will show you in april. we are getting married, religiously, in mexico in may. she is leaving at the end of this month to go and plan our wedding. it is going to be one of those all out affairs, she is a very classy lady. ok i feel better now. see you guys at the meet.

Lo siento, mucho! I sincerely apologize if I offended. It wasn't my intent. I certainly have nothing against Mexico (even though my only experience there was in Tijuana . . . on HALLOWEEN NIGHT!) Heck, estudio espanol dos anos en me escuela secondaria, with dreams of an extended visit, one day. I still plan on visiting -- perhaps this year (Mine and my wife's 25th Anniversary). So, please accept my apologies and my sincere wishes for your wife's safe travel. Vaya con Dios.

1994's coming!
Faaaan damn tastic. I'm really pleased to hear you can make it. Like Randy said, I've posted direction in the Springtime in the Smokies thread of the General Babble section. The actual address is 215 S. Illinois Ave., Oak Ridge. If you can't get reservations with them, there's a bunch of other hotels/motels within a couple of blocks. I've posted telephone numbers for all of them, but if you need more info, please don't hesitate to ask.
What city is your formal, religious ceremony going to take place? I know that will certainly make her family feel much better about things. BTW. you don't fly for Fed-Ex, by any really wild chance, do you?

I ran it by the woman and it looks like we'll be coming to the meet. It's only a half a tank of gas from here so I'd have to come up with a pretty good excuse to not go. I look forward to meeting all of you nutcases in person. I will bring the G-tech Pro in case anyone wants to play with it.

Great news
Immortal
Really glad to hear it! Yeah, it's going to be some fun time. There should still be a couple of rooms left in the reserved block. If not, I've posted a list in General Babble. If you need any more info, please let me know. Stay tuned!

This is going to be fun!!
You didnt offend my friend. Nice spanish! I need to work on mine a little. I took two years in college but you know that doesnt mean much! This week I am ordering some GC springs and some Koni's so they will be installed and ready to go by the time we hit the meet. My car will be the lowered red SVX with the Enkei RS6's!! It will be lowered 2" in the front and 1" in the rear. It is going to look good, real damn good!! I can not wait to see all those shiny SVX's, ahhhhhhh......heaven does exist!!
