Edit: RedlightningSVX, your paint job is beautiful! The only colours I like close to as much as the pearl/black are red/black and blue/black. The SVX just isn't as SVX without the black top, in my opinion.

I've owned a couple of white cars lately, but they are not my natural choice, I prefer dark greys and blues.

Having said that the tri-coat pearl SVX white is really nice, a deep and lustrous colour. I like it a lot. There is one white car in England that has had the trunk lid sprayed pearl white, but kept the black roof. That car looks way cool.

The UK market red did not come in the all-over one colour red like your 93 anniversary Barcelona cars. Instead it was black over barcelona. It is possible that in 96 they may have sold an all-over Bright Red, but I have never seen nor heard of one sold.* The all-over bright silver and polo green are pretty common.

* Edit. Ahmed's car is the all-over Brilliant Red, plus it is dual fuel converted. I forgot that one.

I'm not stuck on black over or all over. Either works for me, but I have favourites.

#1 would be the black over swiss mica red. #2 would be all-over mica black. #3 would be black over pearl white. #4 would be black over dark grey metallic, but with a proviso: I would prefer the dark metallic grey colour all over the car. On that colour the black roof is a nonsense, you can only see it in certain light. It would be best as an all-over dark grey.

I like the blue as well, but those are my favourites.

I have to also say again that red/black is the worse color combination possible on an svx. If its not too late change to white/black so your hard work can really be fully appreciated.

To top off red/black with black rims, more than anything else, proves that you have zero idea of what looks right or wrong insofar as car style/car design.

Thanks ownbot that's what i'm getting out of reading this $h!t sandwich. He's just pissed because I paid less than $400 for the entire paint job that looks professionally done with high quality products and he paid more than that to paint 3 pieces with crappy paint sprayed from a pressure pot which they do not clean before spraying the next color, but just hold the trigger until the next color comes out. Your crappy amature paint job will peel away in a matter of months. How many coats and millage of clear did they use/put on? What paint/clears did they use. Let me answer for you JUNK! Piss off and ban yourself so you don't spread St0p1D ThR0UgH dA f0r0M5!

Always liked the idea of a Barcelona two tone... Now that I have seen it though, I would personally go with the ruby mica.

Thanks Tom. I too love the ruby mica/blak top combo. It was my first choice but didn't go through because I would need to respray the engine bay and that would be impossible to me because it's my DD.
