good news - kitchen range/oven died
ordinarily I would be wanting to kick GE in the rear; but, my wife has been wanting a convection oven, so it's off to the store....
The old one moves to my storage shed and gets used as a powder coating oven that's the good news part in case you were wondering now I just have to figure out what I should try first (advice welcomed BTW) - I'm sure if there's a way to screw it up, I'll find it |

how about metal brackets? Or wipers?
Do not put plastics.

how does one go about converting an old oven to be able to powser coat?

there's really no conversion. You take the oven rack & put it on the highest setting, hang your coated parts from it until done.

i see...how does one get the powdercoating material and also how is it applied? I feel like ive seen a commercial or something for powdercoating and the guy had a special spray gun is this needed?

yes there's a special gun and you need sandblasting equipment (or somebody to do it for you).
For the gun look at www.haborfreight.com they also sell the paint as does www.eastwood.com |

I checked into powdercoating wipers before and was told not to do it because the coating jams up the wipers and they don't work properly anymore.
