Unhappy Need radiator now!

I need to replace my radiator NOW! count me in on the buy for a new radiator.
Does any one know if there is a need to disconnect the AC lines to get the radiator out??

Me Too

My goal is to keep my SVX stock.
However, since the radiator will be a drop in replacement... I will call it a stock replacement

Count me in on the group buy.

Looks like we made it to 20

broyles No, you don't have to disconnect the AC lines to replace the radiator. I've had mine out 2 times.

Update

1> Warranty, YES. One (1) year workmanship warranty.

2> A price guarantee is being written and mailed to me. I will scan it and post it to assure the people signed up that they will get what is promised at the price quoted. NOTE: This price and quote is only good on the initial build. Clint did hint that this price is discounted due to a group buy. They will carry the radiators in stock for later purchase, but the price will be higher.

3> The project has started. They are also talking pictures of the whole process for us. As they become available, I will post them.

4> Yes, this is the United States location of the popular and successful Australian PWR company.

5> This is a new project and they expect a trial fit in an SVX in three weeks. If everything goes well, the rest will ship out shortly after that.

I am SOoooooo excited!

radiator

Alright you guys I just got back from PWR and let me tell you it was awesome. They do some of the best welding on aluminum I have ever seen and the owner was great. His Father and Brother run PWR in Austrailia and he runs the U.S. business. He said after the first batch they are going to go up to $549, so they are a sweet deal. I was only there for 5 minutes, but looking at their products and talking with the owner I have all the confidence in the world, I can't wait. As I was leaving I caught the faint traces of coolant from my pearl and had to wipe away a tear, I hope to never have to lift my plastic welder again.

anodization? I'll buy one if the end caps will be anodized. Do I need to call them to find out?

Anodization

I didn't ask about anodizing but the finish is like a mirror, very nice.

Sweet, Chris or Hohopirates let us know when its ready, even though I am clarifying the obvious. It sounds so promising I'll go Visa Debit with this one. Just tell us where to send the money to, if you did not state that already. If you did then my bad. I'm so HAPPY!

radiator

I am not involved in the radiator deal, I just live close to the manufacturer. We all need to thank Chris for doing the legwork.

Sorry, I am giving greats thanks to Chris. It is just with you living close and personally meeting the employees, not toe mention employer of the US PWR headquarters I just figured you would be one of the first as well to catch a whiff of this.

As for arranging the payment, sorry Chris about forgetting that the offices will be closed over the holidays. Like you said, whenever its ready we'll comply. Take your time since we do not want to risk botching this all up.
