FOR SALE: Make an Offer

I am offering a pair of 91 SVX! That's two of them.
NUTSHL is a rare burgundy 4WS full leather touring with sunroof and FSH. She has a dead transmission and I just don't have the funds to fix her. She was - we understand - the second SVX imported into NZ. I also have a two-tone black on silver 91 that I was given as a parter. NUTSHL has 330k on the clock, the other has 175k. Both must go. Because of their age they qualify for duty free importation into Australia. I am prepared to ship - at your cost.

Re: FOR SALE: Make an Offer

Come on fellow NZ SVX owners lets get together & give Ian (NUTSHL) a hand to get the 4WS back on the road - only requires a gearbox swap with the other car, how hard can that be? pity that OT or YT are not here....

Re: FOR SALE: Make an Offer

I have had the pleasure of meeting Ian and his amazing SVX in 2010. I urge anyone to help Ian keep this car - it is his baby.

This is a rare 4WS SVX - I assume it is totally JDM. There must be a transmission somewhere in NZ!? Hang in there Ian!

Re: FOR SALE: Make an Offer

Thanks for all the support and best wishes.
I am sure this is fixable - only it won't be by me. I'm in a financial crunch and running on empty. So something has to give; unfortunately it's that question of priorities. And to add insult to injury, just when I thought it couldn't get any worse...some unknown person recently nudged the passenger side and now we have a ding as well as a stuffed transmission. :-(
Both vehicles are totally JDM. In fact only last year we installed a genuine factory heater assembly under the dash in NUTSHL after the original failed. I'd hate to see them wind up in some anonymous knackers yard. Or worse. Anyone? The clock is ticking.

Cool Re: FOR SALE: NUTSHL HAS GONE

OK..heads-up here...

NUTSHL is no longer in my possession,; she's gone down South to Whatawhata, just outside of Hamilton in the Waikato, where I am sure she'll undergo a resurgence and rebuild and re-emerge better and faster than ever!

I still have the Black/Silver parts-car under wraps and looking for a home.

Re: FOR SALE: Make an Offer

I'm the proud new owner of Ian's 4WS SVX.
Firstly, thank you Ian for allowing me to purchase your car. I will do my best to show her the same care you have.

I was lucky enough to acquire a deregistered 4WS SVX with a rebuilt transmission a few weeks ago. Now both cars are with Harry Donker* getting the trans serviced and fitted into the burgundy car.

That brings my collection to 3 x SVX (+ Vortex & AW11). So my daily driver SVX will be up for sale in a month or two once I have the 4WS on the road. As Ian mentioned it will need some panel & paint work.

* For those with long memories, Harry Donker owned Torque Winder Transmissions in Hamilton for decades. Very experienced automatic trans specialist.

Shane
