Thoughts on exhaust idea.

I didnt want to derail the exhaust thread with this question so hear goes.
My experience with NA performance comes from american V8s.
I know a lot of what I know may not carry over but I wanted to run this exhaust idea past a few of you "in the know" about these cars.
My idea is this.
2" head pipes with high flow cats.
Going into a 2" inlet 2.25" outlet X pipe.
Going into a dual inlet-dual outlet muffler, probably magnaflow.
Going rearward with 2.5" tail pipes out the rear of the car.
This is a shrunken variation of the system I have used with great success on my larger engines.
The power is made in the front of the exhaust system, the tone is made in the rear.
Depending on final tone I have the option of installing dual resonators to adjust the sound.

Thoughts, opinions, flames, recipes for good BBQ?
