Do a search. There are ones there for as little as $20!

VK, thanks, I am inquiring on a 95 for $25. The best I have found rebuilt is $82. I took the cover off my wiper motor and it looks just fine inside, brushes are good, no smoke or burnt stuff. It flat won't run.

You might want to check to see if there's 12V going to the motor's electrical connection first, to rule in or rule out the motor as the culprit.

for $25 + s&h the worst I'll have is an extra motor. If I knew how to check for voltage I would do it first, or pay later.

Go to radio shack, get a multimeter for around 20 bucks. and using the wiring diagram, test the voltage.

It's not that hard. pretty much the red wire goes into the red of the volt meter and black goes to the ground.

Thanks, I have a multi meter, bought it in 1983, never learned to use it. Now's the time.

as little as I know about reading the meter I believe there is 12 volts at the connector for the wiper motor, meter jumped with contact on plug positions 4 & 6.

What is your opinion on the wiper motor connector plug, which of the six connections do I check? The meter moved to 12 volts on 4 & 6, just want to be sure before ordering a motor.

To check with your multimeter, check the diagram I posted. I can't recall what to check now.

sorry

I haven't looked at the wiring diagram yet, but if you're getting juice there, and if the diagram says that's where juice is supposed to be, then by golly it's the motor!

Besides, it's only $25, right?

You must realize however, that while I can give advice over the net I'm not there with you, and that when someone asks me a question I have to assume that there is some mechanical knowledge involved here. If you have the manuals, and you have checked all the connectors...and you still haven't found the motor, then I can be of absolutely no help to you.
Got a 95 front wiper motor assembly from Nebraska, $25 + s&h, it is installed, all is well. I guess your help was: figure it out. I did.

Bermuda Triangle in Oregon

Front wiper quit AGAIN. Almost the same place as 2 weeks ago, so I have another 5 miles of experience driving w/o wipers. Must be the control unit. The replacement motor was from a 95. If I can get at the wiper control unit what do I do?

David, you're just guessing now and are gonna start throwing money away. Why don't you bite the bullet and get the thing properly diagnosed? I know that sometimes it's hard to admit that you can't figure a problem out, but when it starts to bite into your finances...it's time to change your strategy.
