Unhappy Loud clanking noise !!!

Guys something bad happened to my car, I need a quick diagnosis.
After I made a right hand turn then I heard this clanking noise, first it wasn't so loud and then it got really loud sounded like a sledge hammer on steel. This was only the beginning, my car begun to brake dive each time this clanking noise occured, first I thought it was a wheel lockup but when I pulled off the road and put the car in park the car rolled as if in neutral. The car is really reluctant to do anything when put into gear. What on earth could this be?!

Thanx in advance.

At the far edge of reality it could be an axle, but it sounds like your differential took a turn for the worse.

It depends on how you go about it and who does the work. You need to call locally and get some estimates. All I can offer from this distance is "Not Cheap".
