Question Speed sensor on 5speed. Help

I am now soon done whit my 5speed swap. I have use a subaru legacy 90 2,2L (donor car) And it have been some small problem, It just have speed cabel and not a electronic speed senor(on the transmission). And i have heard that it just to swap the electonic over to the manuall transmission. But this senors is srew down like a nut whit a little tap on.
its a cabel that goes right to the speedo, not spilt like this one on the pictures but is srew like this.

And the speed senor on the svx wiring wont fit inside the hole on the manuall transmission. Is it something i can too to make my speedo to read the speed i drive in?
