It would be VERY helpful for you to download the online service manual for the SVX and refer to the "Tests with codes" section for a step by step guide on fixing your problems. The link to the manual can be found below in my signature.

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

i counted the power blinks when i started it up this morning and it blinks 16 times if that means anything.??
i also disconnected the battery when i put new plugs in it today, and now my check engine light is not on, i will see if it comes on when i leave, i know it will because of the speed sensor atleast.

That means that there are transmission codes present. You need to go through the process of finding what the actual codes are

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

That code is not listed in the manual. It is for the dropping resistor circuit. Check and make sure it is plugged in on the LH fender behind the battery.

To check transmission codes...

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

if engine braking is applied in 2nd gear on decel but not applied or intermittent in 3rd gear on decel then yes the throttle position sensor signal the TCU is receiving is no good.

What is the history of your car? Have your harnesses been tampered with? I suggest you check the ground connection made to the passenger side of the intake manifold next to the throttle body and the ground connection made to the transmission pitching stopper bracket to start with.

I am curious as to this as well. Has someone been inside your transmission? You seem to have a lot of random problems with this car that sound alot like someone has been messing with stuff under the hood.

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

i tried my first 4.11 swap with this car.... eversince than i have been having problems, but i am trying to get a little beater car to run around for a while so i can tear everything back out of it and check it out.

i ordered a new TPS yesterday, hopefully it will be here by the begining of next week, and hopefully it will solve that problem. that is the only thing that is wrong with it as of right now. it has not been bucking and carrying on anymore, after i put new plugs into her.
i will check the grounds on it just to be safe. i might of done something when i did the swap.?
