Yeah I have the only video of the fastest na SVX that day.. haha . Took it on my regular camcorder though, so I dont see being able to transfer that to my pc anytime soon. Sorry guys.

I had a hand in driving this beast back from Canada because Tom kept falling asleep, and did an all wheel burnout accelerating away from a toll, waking him up.

Thumbs up Estimated 0-60mph

Tom,

Using the 0-60mph calculator that bases it off of your 1/8th mile et and trap speed:

http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

On your record-breaking run on Saturday with an 1/8th mile split of 9.296 @75.13, your estimated 0-60mph time was: 5.93 seconds!

Great job on n/a power!!!!

Actually, Phil had a faster 0-60mph as his 1/8th mile trap speed was over 1mph higher (despite having a 2.1 60ft?)

Phil's 1/8th mile split was 9.429@76.34mph. The same calculator gives a 0-60mph time of: 5.82 seconds

I think all this does is confirm that Tom was spinning tires and clutch discs all the way down the track

Yup, Tom had a fast launch on that run but probably lost a lot of time and power from the slipping clutch disc.

Phil's 0-60 is also pretty amazing when you figure that the Stage 2v5 wasn't out yet. That was a very fast run on the stock MAF!

What did u rev to for all these runs? I usually run out to 6800 on the tach(whatever that is at the motor) in all gears but 3rd.
Also, are you running 4.11's? I have an 03 foreseter box, and it seems that(despite what ive found) my gears are even more so taller, prolly to help the poor forester 2.5na pull a trailor.
also, is your car stripped? mine has all trunk dressings and back seats removed.
Dont know if i had the CF hood yet? dont think so. Also AC is removed (compressor, condensor, canister, etc)

Phil,

When I raced with TomsSVX before, he never did any weight reduction other than removing spare, tools and emergency fluids he carries in his trunk (antifreeze, motor oil, etc).

100% street trim outside of the jack and other tools I carry... It would be nice to shave a little weight though... maybe with the silver but I don't want to lose any compfort and luxury with the car...

I was tending to rev up to 7k in 1st because it just got there so fast... I usually would shift at 6500 and the clutch would slip for a second until it fully engaged...or the tires would slip in 1st whichever came 1st
