An exact quote from the Maryland DMV website:

Once the Maryland Safety Inspection Certificate is submitted, the MVA will issue a corrected title that reflects the new inspection date and the
notation “Rebuilt Salvage”. The corrected title will be mailed to you.

If this Buck guy somehow manages to get a clear and clean title on this car, that would be considered fraud... Wouldn't it. The car is not clean, it is even reported with frame damage.

And wouldn't poor Dan become an accessory to fraud by accepting it if he ever sold the vehicle?

Something about money.... what was it?? uhhhh... Oh yeah! GET IT BACK!

it was instected my the MDSP, they signed notifying that it was a salvage. after all the repairs are completed, i mean all, new air bag(s) and probably air bag sensors, you can have it inspected again by the MDSP and it might pass. then again it might not.

the bigest problem is making sure the safty equipment is in proper order. if the airbags went off you can assume that the seatbelts were replaced. were they installed properly? is their an air bag in the wheel that was hacked on to your car? is it functioning? do you want to find out the hard way? is the frame properly repaired? does rust damage on a frame weld disqualify you from inspection in your state?

In the questions from the Maryland DMV website, dealing with salvage titles, it says:

I purchased a salvaged vehicle in Maryland but live out-of-state. Can I apply for a Maryland title?

Only Maryland residents can title and register vehicles in this state. A salvaged vehicle bought in Maryland by an out-of-state owner is not eligible to receive a Maryland Certificate of Title.

My '92 required an immediate Thousand bucks to replace that dumb plastic speedo gear set in the front dif. BUT! The previous owner was honest, and let me know it wasn't the sensor2, and that the tranny would have to be pulled to replace it. No heartaches on this one. I just wished I was good enough to do it myself.

Honesty..... That's the difference with this buck character. He's a crook.

Must be a 92 thing after about $1000 in exhaust

and I got the first driveshaft free

the second drive shaft and rear diff real cheap

but If I didnt probably at least another $500 in parts

plus still have to install them !

My dealer and this guy should get together

On the other hand I did buy one part from that buck guy that was a good deal and I got it fast
