Funny though, after looking closely and reading the car has never been driven in the rain but the pictures are taken on wet roads and most of the pics are of a wet car. I wonder? Not only that this idiot says it is loaded with every option...love thos cloth seats...wheres the faux wood gain? You know I hate mis advertisments! Is a '94 L even AWD?

Oh well just thought I would vent my frustration with this e-bayer.

Heh, yeah, I thought that was funny too,

"Interior is a Beautiful Grey Leather & Cloth Weave with Luxurious Stitching and Trim"

If any of you 94 L owners decide to sell, make sure you include that with the info.

Nope it's got to be a FWD. Looks just like mine except I have a spoiler.

Still, $4,500 not a bad price is it? No bidders yet.

Well I see it ended up with a few bids and someone is going to be taking it home.

But I couldn't pass up on a few of my own observations.

79,000 miles and it was only driven on "special occasions"? They must have a lot of special occasions. Sorry, but they go on and on about how it was "kept in a time capsule" 79K this and 79K that, but there are a TON of SVXes still out there, even 92's, with half that mileage. To their credit though, it is a nice looking car.

To be fair, later on in the write up, they do mention they've only owned the car two years, so maybe most of the mileage was from the "old rich couple" that must have been ripped off by the Subaru dealer because they paid $36,000 (according to the seller) for a 94 FWD base model. Of course, if the seller is not the original owner, how can they rightly say that the car has never been out in the rain? Maybe it was in "$145/month storage" (I like that part too) for the last 2 years, but it is possible that the 8 years of the car's life before that it could have taken some wear from the elements........ right?

I think my favorite part though was when they say "never been exposed to the sun or rain". Did anyone else catch that? The sun OR rain? I guess it really was kept in a time capsule all its life, and those 79,000 miles of special occasion driving were done indoors.

I'm just having fun, it does look like a nice car and you got to do what you got to do to try to sell something and get what you can for it. I'm sure people could have a heyday picking apart my ebay ads too.
