Cold start problems?

My car will not start now that it is cold out. It just turns over and over with no fire. After trying for a while I can smell gas so I assume it is getting fuel through the system. I checked engine codes and I show numbers 11 and 13. I beleive these are for the crank and/or cam sensors. Once it warms up to 40 or 50 degrees the car will usually start.

Anyone have any ideas on how the cold air can be effecting these sensors? The car runs great once started and will restart easily until it completely cools down.

MAybe from the moisture that the cold air brings...That is wierd, never seen those codes before...

My 92 SVX started to not start once the cold temps hit 2 weeks ago. If i throttle hard she starts up and then hesitates to maintain idle for a minute or so but then runs fine. If i turn it off after that she starts fine, it just seems to be on the initial start of the day. I have heard that it may be the cold start valve or engine temp sensor.
Anyone know where to check for these or how to clean or whatever?

If you wanted an idea, here is one: A micro-crack in a conductor - thermal contraction of the wire opens it up and breaks the curcuit.

The sensors are inductive type coils, nothing fancy, but expensive to replace.
Recommendations:
1. Reset ECU memory.
2. Wait until cold enough and crank engine until CE comes up (should take 3 seconds or so). Read the codes.
3. If the code is 13 for camshaft sensor #2 try swapping it with
crankshaft sensor, they are identical. Reset ECU again, let sensors cool, crank - see if code has changed.

If it changes - you know what to replace. If the problem goes away - you know the area where you have electrical gremlins.
