Hyundai Excel Transmission transplant
I am getting a used automatic transmission from the local junkyard and am planning on installing it myself. Has anyone had experience doing such a project? Is the job straight forward? Any special tools required? Anything i should look out for? This will be my first transmission replacement and wanted to ask you guys for any advice as to going about the whole process. Thanks in advance.
Chris it's a 1994 Excel if that helps at all FWD |

If I remember right the Excel's are really easy to do trannys in, at least manual trannys, but then again it's an Excel and most people just throw them away when they need something major.
