Throttle Pulsing

I'm having an issue that is hard for me to explain. I have had this car for twelve years and it is the first time. When cruising at around 15 or 20 MPH for instance and not accelerating the throttle starts pulsing like I am giving it gas intermittingly. The car drives fine otherwise. It idles fine in park. I just replaced a hose that was causing loss of compression but that didn't solve this pulsing. It can happen at any speed. Someone I know mentioned maybe to replace the fuel filter. Anybody had this before? Any suggestions appreciated.

Mike

Re: Throttle Pulsing

Hey promise4m a few days ago I cleaned my air flow meter and after a few days of driving the problem has gotten a lot better. I wouldn't say completely gone. My airbox had sand in it. I cleaned that out thoroughly. My MAF is only about a year old from subaru. Something you could try if you already haven't.
