Changing Spark Plugs
I want to change the spark plugs but there is this metal tube in the way on the drivers side. I was about to remove it when my friend said it was full of coolant. Is this true? And if it is how do I work around this? Any other tricks to changing the spark plugs or is it pretty straight forward as long as you can get to them.

I'm not sure what tube you have there that would be in the way - can you post a picture of it?

I read something about pulling the wheel, and going through a door in the wheelwell to get to one of the plugs. Is this for real?

Something that I've found very convienent for changing spark plugs in tight areas is a spark plug socket with a built in u-joint. I was able to do the plugs on an SVX very quickly without needing to use the access panel or remove anything else. I got mine at Autozone for less than $10 (I believe, it was several years back)

We were talking about that type of wrench. Would you post a picture of it? Just like to see what kind you have. Thanks

Here is the typical U-joint spark plug socket
SK tools also has a completely flexible swivel socket with a ball-joint connection. .

Moss Covered 3 handled .........
Try these.
These are my Houdini Handles. They have tamed many transverse engine situations, so they should handle the SVX also.
