I'm thinking about the Small Car grill as well for my next car. I heard it has a 'cheap' feel to it, but once painted it looks pretty sharp.

I got the Small Car grille and the cheap look is in the plastic mesh. Just isn't finished sharp like metal. Someone on the forum took the time with a Dremmel to smooth out every hole.

I have one, one of these day's I'll get around to painting and installing it.
As for a "cheap" feel, wouldn't expect much from injection molded plastic....lol
Besides, once it's installed how often are you going to be feeling the grill?? So as long as it doesn't crack easy should a stone (or other small object) bounce up into it, who cares.....

Cheap

The reason the SmallCar grille is and looks cheap is because it is not honeycombed--it just has drilled holes. The 97 Grille is much classier.
