Wind noise-why more on right side?

Anyone else have this experience?

My 92 Ebony is fairly quiet on the highway, with minimal wind noise. But there is much more noise on the right side....it sounds like it is just above the door/upper window. The door seal is fine and no air seems to leak in or out.

Any ideas? I like quiet!

i just have been noticing that my car is doing this too, on the left side at the top of the window which rolls down and the bottom of the rubber sealing part.

My 95 does this too. The seal on the metal window frame is weak in one tiny little spot and lets in just enough air to be noisy. Water won't leak in when it is raining, but it will if I pressure wash my car.

Your car may also have had a window replaced in the past (assuming you are not the original owner). Seems like any time I have glass replaced I get a new wind noise

Hmm....Window could have been replaced, I'm not the original owner. But I don't really think the air is going in/out....I even fed in some small rubber tubes into the seal on the door (on the door above the window, not the car side) to fatten it up in case that's what was happening, but it made no difference at all.

Rats!

If it helps, my noise is coming from the metal bar that divides the window glass.....right where that bar meets the door trim near that litttle vent. The leak is on the side where the glass is fixed in place. Try putting your hand there next time you drive and see if you can feel anything or hear a change in the noise.

i noticed this problem after i did my koni install and pulled the rear interior out. i had the interior out for a week or so the trouble shoot all the small sqeaks from rear. as it was off the no noise striping in the door peeled off and i had to restick it. sense then i get more wind noise on the drivers side. but its only when i hit 88 MILES PER HOUR! my flex capasitior maxes at 1 POINT 21 GIGA WATTS! i kid. my exhaust rumbles my seat so noise is not a big issue. if u own one drive it like its ment to be driven. loudly to be seen but if u have not replaced the exhaust cherish the quietest car on earth i do some time miss that.
