Those are usually scams. I would definitely be careful with a negotiation like that.

I sent the first guy a link to the description of the scam and he shut up. I told the second guy that I wanted $4,000 for it, and he said "no problem," but the same weird shipping arrangements. $2,990, $4000 for a car with a bad transmission? What's the difference, right? I asked him what about $10,000.
