Heat on -- cold air still mixed in...

When using the heat, there's way too much coold air coming in, like something hasn't fully closed or opened properly. Any help would be appreciated.

It may be that one of the actuators has come loose and isn't swinging the blend door completely. Might do a search here for it, it seems a couple years ago a number of us had similar problems with actuator mounting screws coming loose.

This sounds like a great tip. Can you direct me to where the actuator mount screws are -- is there a diagram available, or a verbal instruction?

As an added symptom, at times in the summer, A/C or even vented air would not come through the vents unless I moved a nylon swing arm on the blower assembly by hand.

Does this help your sense of what might be going on?

Thanks!

I ran a code check on the climate system and got a #34 "Mode Door Motor".

Any pointers as to where that motor is? And, what to do? Thanks
