Check Engine Codes - All Fuel Injectors- O2, Knock

Does anyone know what it means when the check engine light comes on after starting the car and then goes out after driving awhile with the following codes:14,15,16,17,18,19,28,37. The codes are for all the fuel injectors, O2 sensor and Knock sensor.

the engine sounds and feesl fine when this is going on. The O2 sensors are less than a year old.

The CELight has been coming on very morning for the past 7 days.

Thanks

John

ps I did a search and did not find anything.

I suggest having your battery tested. It may seem fine but may test a lot lower than it's rated at.

Also make sure everything is grounded properly.

Significant Technical Input
Clear the codes and see what repeats, if anything. You may have just caught a glitch. As David said you may have a voltage or ground problem, maybe alternator. I'd just clear them first and see what shakes out. When you get that many codes all at once it's usually a power/ground related problem (..and hopefully not an ECU.)

Okay, cleared the codes, the CE light came on twice both after starting and today the ABS light was on. Oh Boy! I read the codes and now I got just a 28, O2.

How can that O2 be bad when it's not even a year old? I got it new from Subaru.

When you say check the grounds you mean clean them off? Right?

O2 Sensors have a small hole on outside - they need to breese fresh air. If the hole gets plugged by oil/grease the sensor goes bad. From what I've heard this is the one of the most frequent causes for sensor failures.

With bad O2 sensor check engine light should come on ~10 minutes after engine start (ECU gives sensor time to warm up)
and it will stay on as long as sensor does not provide a good signal. We all have seen check engine light come on and stay for less than a minute when engine warmed up slower than ECU expected....

Don't forget to check the grounds on the intake. I think there is 2 or three of them, these are the grounds for various sensors and could be loose or coroded
