Rear defogger/cruise control

I have two more problems that I am looking for help with. When I depress the rear defrost button, it lights up, but doesn't dego the rear window at all. Any ideas??

The other problem is similar. When I depress the cruise control button, it also lights up, but none of the cruise functions work at all at any speeds. Suggestions??

Check the connection at the rear window defogger. Undo it, clean the connection with a zero-residue contact cleaner, or a pencil eraser.

Check the vaccuum hose at the brake booster for the cruise control. It sometimes slips off, or gets a leak in the hose.

The vacuum was detached and I reattached it and the CC is fine now.

Where are the contacts for the rear defogger so I can clean them? Are they under the panel that hides the rear wiper motor?
