Source for SVX balljoints?

Finally put my 92 on a lift last night (After 3 years of driving it with no issues) and noticed my balljoints are a bit cheesed out. Called all the parts stores in town, no listing. I checked my Subaru Parts manual and they listed just about every other part for the SVX except for the balljoint.

So where is everyone getting their balljoints for? Rock Auto didnt list anything.

Thanks!

Re: Source for SVX balljoints?

I went to the dealership both times I needed to replace mine, they never had a problem getting them in. It's been a few years though.

You can always call Jackie at Annapolis subaru. I know you are in alaska but she is always more than fair on prices and quick shipping.

Re: Source for SVX balljoints?

In April I bought these same ones for my "97 (same as all other years). I had them in 2 days. They were genuine Subaru in a parts bag with the Subaru part# on it.
Of course I got mine from the Canadian division of the company to speed the shipping time but raised the price.

A couple of bucks more than subaruparts.com and ya, shipping to Alaska may be an issue.

Re: Source for SVX balljoints?

Should be readily available from any Subaru parts department. I bought a pair just weeks ago from subaruparts.com. They were in stock and on my front porch in a matter of days.

That's cheaper than the dealer in Canada.

Re: Source for SVX balljoints?

just got my balljoints in yesterday. When I was paying for them, I asked the parts guy if the balljoints were gold coated since the price was so high. He laughed said hey you got 200k miles out of the first set, dont complain.

Car has been in this town its entire life, the dealer showed no records of the balljoints ever been done there and looking the old ones it appears they might be original. Is that even possible to get 200k miles out of a set of balljoints?

I know my EA82 eats em about every 50k miles. My OB had had them done once in 150k miles.

Re: Source for SVX balljoints?

I'm pretty sure mine were original @192,000+. And they weren't that bad.
