Re: Delta Speed "JDM side step"

Hey, thanks a bunch for the pics. Your car is wonderful but I just can't reconicle with the splitters, they're not for me. Again, your car makes we want to rob a bank and spend the spoils on the car

Re: Delta Speed "JDM side step"

Interested to see a very close up picture of your clear corners. How were you able to set them up without having the sealant show to the outside?

You're welcome, and thank you.

Danny.
The sealant does show through the lens. You just have to be careful how much sealant you use when you put them together. I used a black/dark gray sealant, so it's a little more subtle.

Re: Delta Speed "JDM side step"

Gotcha.

But still the edges of the clears are not designed to fit the groove of the corner housings.
I wasn't able to put them together successfully. I had the choice of either tight fitting it and show the sealant to the outside or focus on looks with little sealant and have water leak inside...

Oh btw, you officially have the best looking black SVX on this forum

Re: Delta Speed "JDM side step"

I am Polo Green with envy!

Very pretty car. What I've noticed is that photos never seem to do the SVX justice. To me, the splitters look wrong in most pics, not all, just like the SVX does by nature- to me. They look so much better live. I need to see an SVX with splitters in real life.

Do you think they look better than the pic gives credit?

I couldn't agree more. Head on they look good, no doubt.

I'm also a bit worried about the aero. Subiaro did a great job on the original design, if these features lower the CD it's a no go for me. Take fuel consumption for instance, it's quite low for a 3.3

I always like it better in person. But I've seen photos that are really nice too! I think it comes down to the angle of the shot.

Re: Delta Speed "JDM side step"

Ive been on the LegacyGT forums too long.

It stands for Big Brake Kit. Slap some big ole Brembos under there and of course paint them black, unless you want to show off the bling bling

Thanks for clarifying.
Yes, I'd like to upgrade the brakes and rotors in the near future!

Re: Delta Speed "JDM side step"

Hey Armando,

What model TSW rims are those?

Your car is my goal... I want to have the east coast version of your San Diego beauty!

Hey Austin!
Cool! One on both coasts!
The wheels are TSW Mallory, 17x8, +40.
I'm actually thinking of selling them, as I have recently purchased a new set. They're paired with Hankook Ventus 12 Evo tires. 235/45/17
PM me, if you're interested.

These rims with a 40 offset fit on stock suspension w/o spacers, any mods?

The only thing I had to do, is remove the rubber, inner fender guard along the inside edge of the rear fenders, and it left about 1/4" clearance for the tires.
