PCV valve refuses to go back in

I must be too old for this chit. Can't get the PCV valve back in, hands must have grown during the last 12 years since I did it the first time. Wit's end is very near....

I'll try the string method next. I'm running out of curse words..............

Re: PCV valve refuses to go back in

This is what I used. It is has been modified from one of those peg board holders for tools. Sort of a small version of a easter egg dipper. It worked amazingly well for getting the threads started, I just held it in place with one hand and turned the PCV with the other.

Re: PCV valve refuses to go back in

I used the hose that it connects to, to hold it up in position.

Re: PCV valve refuses to go back in

I finally took off the throttle body & that made for enough access to hold the PCV valve with my left hand while I turned the valve with right hand fingers, what a PITA!!!

Engine ran great after all the trauma, still unhooked the battery over night.
