Re: A New Friend For My SVX

Thanks for humoring us with all the pic requests. It's an interesting car for Subaru enthusiasts. This is a major departure from what Subaru has been doing from the get-go. You could fit an entire 360 in the trunk of that beast. Even the new Outbacks and Forresters, while being huge, seem to lack the soft-road pedigree that Subaru built it's reputation on. Maybe I'm a luddite, or just have a soft spot for grey plastic cladding, but these new cars just don't do it for me. All that being said, if I were forced at gun point to purchase a new car, it'd still be a Subaru (I just can't live without a Boxer and AWD).

Now, can we get some shots of it covered in mud?

Re: A New Friend For My SVX

Not crazy about the looks of the new Legacy, especially since I really loved the previous body style. They are pretty boring on the outside but it looks very nice inside, and of course under the body beats the heart of a Subaru, which is the important thing.

Your SVX looks even nicer when parked next to it.

Agreed, new car plastics and interiors really make me appreciate the SVX environment,
I just returned from an 800 mile SVX run, love it .

As for mainstream modern cars, the new Subaru is, well, new
If I had to haul people, the new Legacy looks more than capable.
