Great pics Kit!! Wonderful to have such a "pro" along! Except when you show me I have some adhesive to clean up on an emblem I hadn't seen with the naked eye!

Did you get any nice shots of the Bugatti out in front of the Nethercutt with the Talbot? It was gorgeous!

I did my best to persuade you ,
but I realize your schedule and the distance was a challenge .
We plan to do it again, maybe this fall, if we can work out some details .

I've got a ton of shots from inside both museums. I'm saving them for another thread so they can stay a bit organized, and hopefully catch the eyes of folks not monitoring our Meet threads. So far I've uploaded 200 shots to Picasa (32 are posted here and a few are in other threads) and I've yet to begin Sunday afternoon's photos. Once I've finished sorting the pics from the public section of the Peterson Museum I'll create a thread for them. I was hoping to finish last night, but I had a late start and by 1am I was having trouble telling which shots were in focus.

Thanks for the link David. I was realizing last night that my pics seldom included people. I'm grateful for the shots in the Vault featuring Mr. Messer and the crowd.

This meet gets better and better, more pics to look forward to,
pics of priceless automobiles in astounding collections.

Amazing, the Director of the Pete, Mr. Messer, allowed us to freely roam the vault, (garage full of cars not on display in the main museum), though most stayed close to him, as he told stories and provided history about the cars. Let's see, Jane Mansfield, Clark Gable/Carol Lombard Cadillac, Rita Hayworth, Tim Allen, one of the first 901 Porsches, F40, F50, GT40 next to a GT, on and on and on, those in the vault, away from the public eye, part of Paul's VIP tour

I think Kit was unofficially nominated as the event photographer over the weekend! The group of pictures I posted were all I took with my iPhone. I have nothing more!

I have some on my sony, but am waiting til I'm home next week to download them. Will post some up later.
I don't know if I captured some of the colors as my eye saw them.
