Re: Oil filters

I've heard that if you go into an Advance and let them know that one of their other stores has it cheaper, they'll give you that price???

My zip code is 17929 if anyone in the $24.99 area wants to check it out...

Don't have a local store listed on the web site for Washington state. Web order is 24.99 and probably + shipping

I already got the porsche one the day the information came out on the form and put it on. Fits great!

Re: Oil filters

And... the oil is super clean!!

(could be due to the fact that I just changed it too?)

Just thought I would give it a try and watch the results.

bigger capacity filter leaves it half way between lo and full on the dipstick for mine.

Now That is weird!!!!
I would like to buy a bunch of those at the 6.95 price but 24.99 is out of the question.

I checked it out and ran an order for 11 filters @ 6.96 ea, with your zip code and it took the order!!!

I guess I just joined the tall oil filter crowd!

So far so good. give it a couple of days to get mine shipped before anyone else tries it please!!!

(kidding about waiting... not about the order... they took it!)
Thank you Hocrest!!!!

Re: Oil filters

They were shipped today!!!!!

I am so excited. no shipping and no tax!

I could have lived with a little shipping, but I hate TAX.

(about time for another tee party...)

oops, that would be golf... (well that also)

This is an invitation for everyone to share in my excitement! Do anything you want to do and while you do it, "Have a great week end"

Got to run... here come the folks in the white coats.

Re: Oil filters

I also used Daves zip code. Got the same same price but had to pay tax. How did you get away with the tax?

Lol! No.. It's not a foot long or anything.. It's like a whole other one of the OEM ones.. It's the only thing I've ever used on mine.

Just don't go over big bumps, or it may knock it off the engine.

It is still above the engine shroud and it is not a problem.

Re: Oil filters

good just ordered 2 from rockauto, 9.81 each filter

shipping is outrageous, but i ordered several hundred dollars in parts, including a distributor for the Brat since its distributor went into the rescued 83 GL wagon. a clutch kit for the Brat, oil filters for the legacy, and Brat, and GL wagon, pan gasket, etc etc etc
