Could have been running alchohol but more than likely race fuel. Interesting to know that they changed over to carbs

Why would you source a JDM item from the middle east, and not from Japan where it originated/was originally imported from and is much more abundant?

Because the JDM ECU is actually a downer in the states with it's rediculously low speed limiter. The middle eastern ECU that Silverspear has w/o the use of 02 sensors and no smog restrictions is the choice one, but like I said, finding it and it's capatability may be a downfall

Not Practical

You can actually see the carbs in the picture, but it looks like it would not be practical at all for a car. There is a better picture on here someplace of the engine compartment only showing the carb installation. I just couldn't find it.

On the Dodge Stratus forums that I used to frequent, one of the members did a custom supercharger set up on his V6 equipped car, but there is basically no room for anything under the hood, so he had to cut his hood. He made a huge bulge in it with some custom fibreglass, and everyone made fun of it.

This pissed him off due to the large amount of hard work that went into it, and the fact that a lot of stratusphere.net members were constantly whining that the cars have "no potential" because they don't have an instant-gratification aftermarket like the Civic or 240SX crowds do. So he does this, turns his 17-second grocery-getter into a low 13-second drag strip monster, and everyone complains because it looks odd.

I'm not sure what the point of me saying that was; I guess it just reminded me and I felt like sharing.

Come on, it was semi-relevant... brought on by the whole "aw come on, who wouldn't want 2 HUGE scoops shooting out of their hood.?" thing

I think I remember the thread you're talking about.

Seat of the pants dyno said power was up , fuel economy went into the toilet .
