Exhaust Problem Help

In need of ideas/fixes for my exhaust.

Problem: New York salt has slowly killed my exhaust and now it is deafening....The flanges on the pipe coming down from headers (containing cats and O2 sensors) have rusted off. The connection between these pipes and the primary cat is pretty much gone.

Solution: No idea. Do not want to spend the $300+ each to buy new pipes. Has anyone else had this same problem and if so how was it fixed(pictures would be great)Any ideas or alternative fixes out there????

Please help
Caleb

How about installing the high flow 1-1 cat in place of the current 2-1 cat. Who has done this. Was it as easy as chopping the pipe behind the flanges and welding on a premade "Y" adapter on and then just weld the new cat to that?

Significant Technical Input
A decent exhaust shop can remove the pre-cats and make pipes to replace them. You'll need to replace the main cat with a universal that is rated to replace all three to stay Federally legal. A 2-1 cat will make it easier for the exhaust shop.

That is amazing! i have the exact same exhaust leak ....at first I thought it was just the donut gasket at the flange, but no -the flange is starting to disconnect itself from the pipe.
