The stock tranny cooler is built into the bottom of the stock radiator. It's a two pass.

If you remove the splash shield on the bottom front, you can see the hoses connected to the bottom of the radiator. Hopefully one of the hoses is exiting a filter before it reaches the radiator.

Oh!! The installation of an aftermarket tranny cooler. Do a search for transmission cooler, or tranny cooler. It's been discussed before, with some really outstanding information.

It is generally accepted that you don't "replace" the stock cooler.

Most people just add an extra one, either in series or in parallel. The reason you don't replace it, it is an expensive liquid/liquid type, which has the great advantage of heating up your tranny oil quickly on cold days/climates to the correct operating temperature.

The reason people add an additional one, hot weather, hard driving, heavy traffic, can create more heat in the tranny than the OEM one is able to do away with.

Do a search and read all the stuff about it is good advice.
